Recently, XDYB, a governing unit of CEEA, has successfully developed China's first 132 kV synthetic ester oil shunt reactor. This breakthrough marks a significant advancement in the country's key technologies for eco-friendly high-voltage transmission and transformation equipment, paving a new technical path for greener and low-carbon development in power equipment.
This reactor will be deployed by CLP Hong Kong to enhance grid reliability and environmental performance, effectively meeting the power supply demands of high-density load areas in Hong Kong.Leveraging the dual advantages of synthetic ester insulating oil—inherent biodegradability and high flash point—it significantly reduces fire risk and environmental impact, holding major strategic significance for supporting the energy transition.
